Val attended the University Of Kentucky where she was the All-Time Leading Scorer (men and women) scoring 2,763 pts., she's also the All-Time Leading Rebounder with 1,525. She was a 2-Time Kodak All-American ('82-'83), 3-Time Street & Smith All-American ('81,'82,'83) and a 2-Time All SEC Selection.
Val played in Italy for 12 years, winning numerous scoring titles and an Italian National Championship. Val played professionally with Andrea Lloyd for 1 season.
Val came out of retirement to play in the ABL for the Quest, playing the center position. She helped the Quest win the ABL Championship, averaging 14.2 pts. in the Finals Series. She was selected MVP for the Finals. And also got her props in the '98 season, as she was selected as an All-Star.
Val is amazing for her age! She is a
team player, and is always upbeat and smiling!
