Angie has made a great contribution to the Quest off of the bench this season, playing some quality minutes and showing some physical play under the hoop.
Angie is going to play a big part in taking over Andrea Lloyd's position. While it will be hard to fill Andrea's shoes, I think Angie will give it a heck of a run:)
A native of Erie, PA and an alumni of Penn
State University, Angie was the Quest's top
draft pick in the '97 ABL Draft. At PSU, (boo hiss boo I'm a Pitt fan:),
Angie made the First Team All-Big Ten three times ('95, '96, 97) and was
also an Associated Press Honorable Mention All-American ('97). She
finished her PSU playing career with 1,198 points and was the All Time
Field Goal Percentage Leader hitting on 57.4%. She also participated
in the U.S. World University Games this summer, and was a teammate of
Shannon
"Peewee" Johnson.
Taken during the Quest vs. Blizz game on 1/2/98 and 1/31/98.
