Probably the best three point shooter in the game. Her shot is like money in the bank! "Ice" maybe quiet off the court, but on the court she takes command!
Ice, who played college ball at Tennessee (with the GREATEST coach in the NCAA, Pat Summit) won 2 National Championships in 1987 (MVP of the Final Four) and 1989, she scored 1,309 pts. during her career at Tennessee. Ice was a regional All-American and on the All SEC Coaches team in 1990.
Ice returned to her high school alma mater, Flint NW High School in Michigan as a coach. Her '92 team finished as State Runner-ups, while in '93, her team won the Michigan Class A Championship. Ice was also selected as the '93 Michigan High School coach of the year. Ice was also an assistant coach for the '95 Pan Am Team.
Ice was the leading scorer in the Championship series vs. the Richmond Rage (Now Philadelphia Rage).
Ice is a 2 time ABL All-Star, who played professionally for 2 seasons in Turkey and Israel, before her ABL career.
I decided to "scout" the WNBA and attended the 1st Cleveland Rockers game, and to my surprise Ice , Sonja Tate (Great rebounder!) and a friend were seated across the aisle from me also "scouting":) After the game we chatted, and all agreed this was "DEFINITELY" not the ABL and this was the final WNBA game we'd attend. And Sonja was quick to agree with me, she didn't like the ball either:)
Recently, Ice signed a two year deal with the ABL, and has a "no trade clause in her contract". Now that is what I call loyalty!!!
